Each of these ribbon works has been a gift for a beloved community member, each stitch sewn with love and well-wishes for the wearer. Some of these are skirts, some are hoodies, and one is a beautiful denim jacket. Ribbon wear has been in our Indigenous communites since at least the 18th century and have since become a deeply significant cultural clothing.
